LIMA RADIO ICON DIES - 9/6/2007

A long time Lima radio icon has died. WIMA stat man and color commentator George Frazee passed away this morning after a long battle with heart disease.

Frazee was behind the mic for over 20 years bringing high school sports to west central Ohio. He was also well known in the Lima theatre community at Encore Theatre and instrumental in the creation of Playfair . Frazee was also a long time Lima Senior teacher. George Frazee was 60 years old. Funeral arrangements are pending.
