Limbaugh Morning DJ Show

Interssting that that would surface, and the quality sounds good. There is one from his larger Pittsburgh station on Reelradio.

If he only worked at two stations in Pburg, that's a maximum of being canned twice unless he was fired and rehired several times at those stations.

WIXZ/1360 was a carbon copy of Cleveland Top 40 giant WIXY/1260. They shared a fair amount of material between the stations, from jingles to logos to even deejays. It might have very well been the first attempt made to franchise a format under a "name" brand, if one doesn't take RKO-based Drake-Chenualt or the ABC Radio top 40 formats into account.

The Harlem Globetrotters (no kidding) bought WIXY and WIXZ in 1972... which through a series of mergers and buyouts ultimately became Gannett.
