Limbaugh stays on WBEN...

Considering how well(or NOT)he's doing in other markets...this might qualify as a "Meh, such is..." moment.
 
Here's the reality: iHeart has a ton of AM talk stations. Some of the biggest, most powerful talk stations in the country. They need content, and the audience for this format is going the way of manual typewriters. So they just need to keep the talent the listeners know on the air. NPR did that with Car Talk, even after one of the hosts died. Now, they're finally announcing that it's time to let go. Rush has 4 more years.
