LIN BUYS 10 STATIONS FOR $330 MILLION

Any idea if this will change anything on-air for the existing LIN stations? Here in New England, they have the following:

WTNH-TV (ABC) channel 8 New Haven
WCTX-TV (MY) channel 59 New Haven

WWLP-TV (NBC) channel 22 Springfield, MA

WPRI-TV (CBS) channel 12 Providence, RI
WNAC-TV (FOX) channel 64 Providence, RI

Last thing I knew, the master control for these stations was out of a hub in Chicopee, MA, which is in the Springfield, MA DMA.

Probably nothing... none of the New Vision Stations are even close to New England and probably will have their Master Control operations served out of other hubs which LIN already has up and running.

How many hubs does LIN have? Plus LIN has agreed to keep every single New Vision Employee as part of the sale agreement, hubbing would probably not be in the near future for any of the new stations LIN is buying.
