LIN TV sign-offs

In the event COX does pull the plug at 11:59.I would like to hear of any special announcements or maybe if a station squeezes in one more commercial break right before they are yanked etc.If they strike a deal then this thread will be irrelevant.

They'll come to an agreement by about 10 PM. I would be very surprised if they didn't. I guess if both parties are being particularly stubborn, an outage could take place until Thursday. Both companies are essentially waiting for the other to cave in. That is the way it always goes. COX Cable probably will and then everyones rates will go up again. Thank God for free TV. Believe it or not... You DO have an option.

In a perfect world..... as soon as LIN TV stations get pulled off the COX lineup they would be replaced at the exact same second with out of town affiliates. But I'm pretty sure that Cox customers will get a blue screen telling us to call WPRI and tell them we want our channels back. two and a half more hours for something to happen. I'm almost hoping they don't reach an agreement just so I can see what they put up on the screen.
