I always liked Gold better in the afternoons anyway, dating back to his show on WRBZ. Perhaps his style is better suited for afternoon drive. I certainly enjoyed him more in that slot than I did in his morning slot with Ovies.
 
How brutal was 99.9 this morning? Of the 60 minutes between 8 and 9 AM, at least 40 minutes of that was either commericals or station/ESPN promo spots.
