25 years ago no one else was doing rap, and they were. Actually, WLGI may have been the only FM station targeting African-Americans. The station at 1330 in Conway had been for a while and was constanly changing its letters to whichever ones the owner needed "parked".
WDAI "Kiss FM" came along in the mid-90s but this station continued to play a mix of religious and secular music.
In recent years, this station has played smooth jazz. Once "Easy" quit playing instrumentals, this was the one place to hear easy listening instrumentals, for a couple of hours each day at least, mixed in with some smooth jazz vocals.
WDAI "Kiss FM" came along in the mid-90s but this station continued to play a mix of religious and secular music.
In recent years, this station has played smooth jazz. Once "Easy" quit playing instrumentals, this was the one place to hear easy listening instrumentals, for a couple of hours each day at least, mixed in with some smooth jazz vocals.

Spending a fair amount of my young adulthood in SC, Radio Baha’i (and the Baha’i faith itself) always fascinated me.
I do know the vast majority in the US live in a strip between the coast and Columbia.
It’s most popular practitioner in that area (that I’m aware of) was long-time WIS-TV anchor Susan Aude-Fisher.
I also know there is very little preaching/teaching on WLGI as well. Mostly unusual music! It’s a fascinating station to say the least
