Link Weekender Robin Marshall leaves for CBS

Robin Marshall, 25 year NYC on-air vet, joined the LINK this summer after moving with her family to Charlotte. Today, she announced on Facebook that she's resigned from the LINK and will join the CBS cluster.

She didn't say what station or what shift, but most presume it's to join K-104 in some capacity.

We'll see.

Robin is a great air talent. Congrats!

I agree, she sounds great! Too bad the format is so limiting. As a "personality", she clearly has more to offer than what the listener hears during the 3 or 4 short opportunities she's allowed to speak during each hour.

But that's a whole other discussion, huh?

Yeah. Let me know when you're ready to discuss why the approach you don't like produces ratings success, while the one you favor doesn't. :)

So I guess what you're saying is it really doesn't matter who is on the air.

Robin is a great air talent. Congrats!

Okay, so here we go!  You stated Robin is a great air talent.  Based on your "what gets ratings and what doesn't" philosophy, is your opinion based on Robin's ability to segue song to song without talking?

Jojo, tell us what makes her a great air talent?

1. High I.Q>
2. Experience.
3. ratings.

Whether Robin gets to speak 3 times or 33 times, it is the BEST move Reynolds has made in a LONG time to better the direction of K 104.7. She is extremely talented and can only bring goodness to the Charlotte airwaves.
