Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington committed suicide today

i listened to the first 2 Linkin Park albums alot when i was teen in the early 2000s, and bummed to hear about his death. he had some demons which included being a victim of sexual molestation by someone when he was a kid and it kinda caused him to develop a drug addiction and made him a alcoholic, also he also dealt with depression as a teen from all of that. plus he was pretty close to another musician, Chris Cornell (of Soundgraden, Audioslave and Temple of The Dog fame) who committed suicide a couple of months back. sadly Chester killed himself the same way Chris did, which is hanged themselves with a noose.

this is sad, and alot of the Linkin Park songs now have a darker new meaning as a warning sign of a guy who was "one step closer to the edge, and he finally broke".

RIP Chester, your music will live on.
