Sounds like an old announcement, since KRXA 540 and KPTK 1090 have carried Lionel since mid-2005.

The affiliate list at the Lionel Web site sure seems out of date. The site lists WFBL 1050 in Syracuse NY for both the daily and weekend shows. The problem is that the WFBL calls have not been on 1050 in Baldwinsville (the real CoL of the station) for well over a year. Buckley, which owns 1050 (and WOR, New York and WDRC, WSNG, WATR, and WMMW in CT), bought 1390 in Syracuse at that time and put the WFBL calls back on that frequency. (The WFBL calls started out back in the 20s on what eventually became 1390 and moved to 1050 after 1390's former owner, Crawford, flipped the calls to WDCW or something like that.) I don't know the current calls of 1050 in Baldwinsville, but it wouldn't surprise me if Buckley had reinstalled the station's former calls, WSEN, on 1050. Now, maybe 1050 is calling itself WFBL-2 or some such, but if so, those would not be the official calls. I'll see what I can find out.

That's WWCO that Buckly owns not WATR. WATR is still independently owned by The Gilmore Family.

WSEN is on 1050 in Syracuse. It is simulcasting WSEN-FM (Oldies). Talk moved over to 1390 after Buckly purchased the station.

They haven't flipped. They're running oldies at night. No Lionel.

As a point of interest, WVAX in Charlottesville, VA is a new station that is not yet on the air. It's CP was recently bought by SAGA.
