Hey, did you catch what happened last night on Lionel? This is so typical of radio. Lionel had made an agreement with the higher ups at WOR that he would announce his department from Wor on Friday night. (He will be starting on Air America on May 14th.) Unbeknownst to him and his producer, Wor had been running Steve Malzberg promos saying steve will be starting Monday at 9pm - DURING Lionel's show! If management had made an agreement with Lionel to not say anything until Friday - why were they running promos promoting the new show - that was coming on Monday. Too much! This is typical radio stuff. No communications. The right hand not talking to the left hand. All Lionel could do in that situation was laugh. What else can you do? Good Luck at Air America, Lionel!
