Robert Feder reported earlier this morning that WBEZ morning news anchor Lisa Labuz is moving to mid days starting early next year, https://www.robertfeder.com/2019/11/06/wbez-morning-anchor-lisa-labuz-moving-middays/ , where for the past 20 years she has been the morning news anchor on WBEZ during Morning Edition. Her new hours will be from 10 AM to 3 PM, and she will be the news anchor during Reset with Jenny White. While Robert Feder also used the wars local host, I hesitate to use those words, as what did she host locally on WBEZ. As the hosts would be the national people that host Morning edition that currently are David Greene, Steve Inskeep, Noel King, and Rachel Martin. Which 2 of them vary each day, and if you also look at WBEZ's website that they have her listed as a local host, but you don't really hear her host too much if at all any local segment apart of it. Steve Edwards, vice president, chief content officer and interim CEO of WBEZ has announced that a replacement search is on for a new morning anchor, and he is also saying that it will likely be coming from outside the station. And the plan is that Lisa Labuz will stay in morning slot until a successor is named. Greta Johnsen is currently the interim midday anchor as also reported in the article, and assuming that Greta Johnsen will move back to her Saturday morning slot as the news anchor.
