I know she has some ill family members, so for her to be able to be close to family and hom and still do her thing is a plus!
All of you who are anti-MOViN (AQH), get over yourself, OK. I know you're obviously a bitter old radio dork, but, looks like there might be a PD opening there now, why don't you apply and let those folks at Sandusky use all of your radio knowledge!

Seattle and Portland are, what, 2-3 hours apart? That statement would have more credibility if she moved from Florida or something.

Thank you Mamma for your honesty. My guess is that family issues were a big part of Lisa's decision, however the key issue is that Marc Kaye/Sandusky intend to run all of their stations as lean as possible until they are able to sell their Phoenix and Seattle properties to a larger operation. If you look at the Movin station in San Francisco, for example, they have launched an all-out national talent search to find the best in the business, and all indications are that they will spend the money it takes to secure the top talent that a new station needs to have any chance at success. KQMV, on the other hand, has hired two beginners (DJ KAZ and Monti Carlo) to "stay out of the way" of the music and make sure the EAS tests are implemented properly. It is really sad that the charter station of the Movin format is not spending the money it takes to secure success....but that is business as usual at the Factoria Mall Radio Supercenter!
