Lisle and Hahn Exit 99.5 KISS???

Re: Lisle and Hahn Exit 99.5 KISS???

99-5 KISS is NOT flipping. So get that out of your head right now.

Lisle and Hahn will be missed. I've listened to them since 1998. Think about the morning shows that have come and gone since then; Sarah and Jenn on the 101X in Austin, Drex O'Drawers on KTFM, etc. Yet Lisle and Hahn were still going strong some 13 years later.

I'm not sure why KISS is playing more Classic Rock. It all started in March 2010 when 97-7 Rock flipped to The Party. KISS played the exact same playlist 97-7 Rock did, then when 97-7 Rock flips, KISS alters (albeit slightly) it's identity? You would think KISS would change its playlist to stand apart from 97-7 Rock, but they change immediately when 97-7 Rock flips. Just goes to show Cox got owned by whichever company owns KLTO (Clear Channel?).

KISS has been a rock formatted staple in San Antonio for over 20 years and will continue that tradition for many years to come.

If you are looking for a format flip in San Antonio, put your money on 92-5 The Patriot flipping to a sports FM simulcast of KTKR. I also like a possible flip to a dance format by March of next year. Maybe 106-7 KPWT as a possible candidate?
