List of HD stations

Does anyone know of a current creditable website that lists HD stations?

Last time I looked at the Ibquity lsit it was hopelessly out of date with respect to both dates and formats.

iBiquity's list was updated recently but it's still woefully wrong on some fronts, especially HD2 and coming soon listings. Most of the coming soon listings should be taken off as it's obvious after many years they're not coming soon but never will.

The ibiquity site has, for many many years, listed WIRK, West Palm Beach, 107.9-HD2 as having or about to have americana, progressive country, southern rock. Their current generation of people had no idea from what planet I was, when I emailed them about it. ???

Interesting! iBiquity's site lists Rochester's 101.3 WRMM as not only "analog - digital coming soon!" but also has the ownership as Entercom.

The station was spun to Stephens Media Group (along with WZNE) in 2008. Just TWO AND A HALF years ago. And there is no "digital" in sight.

I mean, I know that in some markets/owners the format decisions made in the morning are countermanded by new management by lunchtime, so in a sense maintaining the iBiquity site could be a fulltime job for someone. But it's clear nobody is paying attention to the station list. And from what I read about how things are going internally at the company, updating the website has probably been delegated to a janitor or to Struble's pimply pre-teen nephew when he's not attending Star Trek conventions. ;) :D

60% of Detroit's AM stations ditched their HD on AM, with only 1130 and 1270 keeping it, and I can't get a lock on 1270. The POS on 560 in Monroe has their HD on, and the noise generated on the 2nd adjacents is stronger than the very stations from Windsor that I'm trying to hear!

Ahh yes. HD-AM Radio - the gift that keeps on giving. If you're one of the seven people in North America who WANT to hear it, you (usually) can't. If you DON'T want to hear it, or even the station that's spewing the noise, HD-AM keeps you from hearing signals you DO want. But that's all okay: it costs the stations a ton and you can't buy a radio to receive it.

HD's like that kid in school who never got picked to play sports: "Hey, he's small - but he's SLOW!"
