Listen To Pirate Sign-Off Between 9-10 PM EST 8-2-09

Listen To 89.3 FM In Billerica Sign Off www.stickam.com/wcppfm. This Is How I Receive It At My House In Billerica I Think Its A Portuguese Format And Its Only On The Air During Weekends. It Must Be At Least Running 5-10 Watts Because I Can Receive It All Over Town.

They Did A Great Sign Off. They Signed Off With Their National Anthem Followed By A Beautiful Version Of Our National Anthem. I Believe It Was The Same Version That WHOT-FM An Oldies Pirate Station In Brooklyn, NY Used To Sign Off In The 80's. I'll Try To Post It On Youtube.

89.3 FM Pirate In Billerica Now Leaves The Air. 89.3 Is An Unlicensed, Law Breaking Station Which Is
Lucky The FCC And the U.S. Marshalls Have Not Caught Yet. If We Are Caught We Are Subject To
Fines Which If Ever Collected Could Amount To $17,000 Or More And/Or Possible Confiscation Of Our Broadcasting Equipment. We Only Hope That Some Other
Pirate Does Not Set Up Right Next To Us On The Dial To Interfere With Us As That Would Not Be Right.

89.3 FM Apologizes To Those Who Wish To Use This Frequency To Legally Re-broadcast Their Satellite
Radios or mp3 Players, and Also to the I.R.S. Which Is Not Collecting Money From This Illegal Operation
Nor Are Music Publishing Companies.

Good Night And Have A Pleasant Tomorrow! >>JUST TRY TO CATCH US, FEDS <<

LOL. I Wonder What They Really Say I'm Gonna Have To Have My Dad's Girlfriend Translate Since She Speaks Portuguese. They Must Be Transmitting From Somewhere Near Billerica Center Since Thats Where The Signal Is Best. The Signal Starts To Fade Once You Hit The Burlington Line And Also When You Cross Into Lowell So They Must Only Be Running A Few Watts.

ha...and as for the thing about interfering with those who want to LEGALLY rebroadcast their satellite
radios on these freqs, I point you to the thread "too many pirate stations" and one post which says in
part:

>>Tried listening to my Sirius radio today and was unable to listen due to interference on 88.5 FM. Today he was playing Led Zeppelin.

Those who are paying for Sirius or XM and are unable to find a suitable frequency should complain to the FCC
and get these folks shut down. I mean, you're PAYING for it but some pirates want to hog all the frequencies?
