listener report

The bus driver is still listening to Cat Country. The barber is still listening to Cat Country as well. Yesterday he was singing along to a Country song that sounded old but I think it's a remake. When the lights go down low? Anyone know this song. The diner is still playing WLEV. That;s the report. Nothing really knew.

spent some time recently in berks county. listening report there is as follows ... party supply store listening to Frank FM. Gas station listening to WEEU. Family Dollar listening to Mix 106.7 out of harrisburg. another gas station listening to WJJZ (how odd ... big rough guys listening to soft jazz while fixing cars ... classic). in kutztown, found two stores listening to kutztown university radio. i asked the owner of one store how he was able to get the station since it is part 15 and unlistenable off campus. turns out he was listening on TV channel 24 which seems to be the main way people listen to KUR. then i drove up the road and the diner had on WLEV. there's the berks report. funny thing was, did not hear Y-102 once in berks. LOL Gotta be a coincidence.

This will possibly upset some hardcore radio folks but the Funhouse in Bethlehem now has satellite radio. Bartender Derrick will switch between classic rock, alternative, or various other sub genres. I liked it but the beer is still too expensive. Their 85 cent happy hour is ok but after that grab your wallet and run!

Alexandra's Bistro on 4th st. in Southside Bethlehem proudly blast soft rock 100.7 WLEV. Weekdays and Weekends they're always on.

DMX 51 Soft Hits ... (Music Choice) at Union Blvd. Mcdonalds ... they were playing B104 HD2 at the mcdonalds inside walmart-whitehall last time i checked.

pickle.. u might want to quit wgpa and blog for a living.. i think u get more action here then gpa has listeners lol.

i'll stick up for mr. dill pickle on this one aka (microphonemaster) he means well and brings up good points from time to time. i find it interesting what businesses tune in to what stations. although i miss the elevator music courtesy of muzak in hess's and all the other fine establishments that were cool enough to pump it in back in the day.

by the way...here is a trivia question...what song was playing at the end of the blues brothers movie when jake and elwood were on the elevator to pay the $5000 in taxes to the revenue dept in chicago????

thanks for the flashback mr. mayor on the moniker 100 plus. i forgot they used to call it that. 100 plus. lol classic. back in the day when everyone had analogue tuners and yea, that was the best way to describe it. for elevator music, go to 100 and then go plus a little more. the old days. i miss wfmz.

in another month it will be time for WLEV to start playing CHRISTMAS MUSIC for their annual ratings bump

that'll change the listener report. lol
