am noticing a disproportionate number of songs over the past 2 years. Granted, I've not been into the top 10 but, this doesn't seem right.
 
Probably because whoever put together the list calculated it based on SPINS. Which is a big no-no. There are way more Top 40 stations in 2009 then there was at any other time in the decade. Plus, I think overall the powers are spun more now too, though some stations have come back down to reasonable levels.
