Lite 95.9 - Goes Christmas

Yes. In '04 we had three all-Christmas stations (92.5, 96.9 and I believe 102.5). They started early. Charleston also had two in '06 also. Don't remember '05.

Oh, OK. Come to think of it, it seems that 102.5 started going all-Christmas around the last year or so that Sunny was on the air.

95.9 should have stayed classic hits, or at least gone back to it after the country format moved. I hate to sound like a broken record, but I don't get it. The market can support it better than this soft AC stuff. When WXLY was classic hits or oldies, they were almost always top 5.

I agree with you Carolina, 95.9 was doing a good job with classic hits before the switch and maybe they should think about going back to that format after Christmas season is over.

When Lite 95.9 is skipping into Sumter mornings and evenings I 'm always listening. It is hard to hear Soft AC in the center of S.C. but we tune alot for the soft programming.(Carolina 92.1 , Easy 100.7. and Star 1590)
