Lite FM in Miami is better than NYC Lite

The music mix is so much better...

I believe they're still run by Lincoln Financial (nee Jefferson-Pilot), who over the years had slowly been looking to get out of the broadcasting industry.

Isn't that dependant on preferences? What is better to you, may not be for me, or what is popular in NY, might not be in Miami... it's all relative. Lite has over a 9-share in NYC - they're doing something right.

Aren't those lyrics to the theme song from that show "Diff'rent Strokes"? ;D

Don't have to go far for a better AC station. Connecticut's WEBE 108 and 100.5 WRCH sound much better than Lite FM.

New Jersey has too many AC stations. Unfortunately, all but one (WEZW) play today's crap that only belong on CHRs.
Lady Gaga is not AC.
To keep it simple, if 92.3 Now plays a song, that song is too heavy for AC.

Tell that to Greater Media, which just replaced WJRZ with another "Magic" station!

Greater Media clogging up the dial with AC formats while Press clogged up the dial with CHR formats. I dont know which of the two formats has more dials.

But on topic, if anyone should've leased WNYZ, I'd say Original Hot 97 shouldve been on there since Emmis is not acknowledging this station on their HD channels.

Book after book after book....Lite FM is the #1 station in Manhattan. One of the highest billing stations in America. Every challenger has eventually crumbled. Obviously, the masses have made this station a big part of their life.

Kudos to Chris, Morgan, and the Lite staff for showing America how it's done.

And this takes absolutely nothing away from Lite in Miami. Another fine example of A/C being done right. Just a different market and a different "vibe" than NYC.

In my opinion, lite 94.3 carbondale,pa, is better than 'ltw---When I was in Monticello,ny I found it on my AIWA mini boombox which is pretty good since Monticello is at the very fringe of the signal since 94.3 the wolf is not far away. You can listen to it online--try it.

Yeah, with both stations sharing the frequency, I think it's safe to say that "the wolf is at the door," so to speak...
