LITE Middays

Before anyone starts a Tanya death watch she's still listed as middays on the Lite site. No one has said she's out permanently. A lot probably depends on the outcome of this mess. I did hear WPRO news do the story last week and they referred to her as a radio personality using her real name but didn't mention which station she worked at.

That is a long time to just have other people fill in. I would be very surprised to hear her back on that station ever again. I don't think it's going to happen.
Gary Degraide is the best choice for WWLI right now. I'm pretty sure Citadel management wants to put some distance
between themselves & Tanya.

Ken is right. I think she's as good as gone. I expect to see a "For Sale" sign in front of her house within a year too. I'm not trying to be mean either. I am just being realistic. This whole case is going to bring her financial ruin. She's not Paris Hilton. Tanya doesn't have the big bucks to make it through this. If she did than she would not have allegedly defrauded an insurance company for such a small amount of cash. That tells me right there that she needed money. What does a midday DJ make in Providence? $75,000 a year Tops? That's not going to get her far. Now she's not even getting that anymore!
I honestly would not wish her situation on my worst enemy. I'm not even sure where you go from here. What does she do next?

I would have a little more sympathy for her if it was just a tiny mistake. Perhaps uttering a couple of swear words during her show. That I could get past. Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? I'm not defending what she may have done but she's a relatively small player when it comes to this stuff in Rhody. Maybe it's "innocent until determined unconvincing doing testimonials". It might have been awkward to put her on air live given that she would have been accessible to callers but she could've tracked for now.
