it's called read the liner and get paid...that's why.

count them if you like. This is a good time to listen to either station. The spotsets are always shorter after Christmas!
> Lite still has the best variety and jocks.
If you say so, but there are a few of us who have worked at both places, as for variety Lite was much better back when it was EZ-102.9.
> It shows in the ratings.
Actually the stations are quite close in the ratings with K-104.7 enjoying a small lead right now.
> K104.7 still has mumbling Tom Jeffries, & Holly Haze, who

You've said that before, so why the rerun. Both are really good jocks, very entertaining and nice people to work with. Tom is from the big leagues, Chicago, Boston, Cleveland and Miami. Holly has worked at Lite and The Fox. Say what you want about me, I work Saturday and Sunday nights on K but these two people are my friends so knock it off please!
I had been out of radio for 11 years until last year. Much has changed. Tom and Holly were very good to me, both gave the guidence I needed to deal with the new tools we have in radio.
I could have worked at Lite but i turned them down. They wanted me to sign a non compete that would lock me out of a radio/TV job anywhere for 6 months. I had to say no thanks even though I have lots of friends at Clear Channel. CBS had no such requirement.
I'm having fun doing my little weekend thing at K-104.7. Hope you enjoy your job whatever it is!
