What station is playing a lot of new songs at night and the GM is getting paid to add them? Bet the owner doesn't know (too busy selling cars).

Ah, nothing like an anonymous allegation from a first-time poster who probably has an ax to grind.

This did get me wondering if anything is any different since Gladner became GM of K-Hits (I sure don't listen) so I went to its web site and boy what a weak site it is. Click on either of the two personalities and there are errors where pictures are supposed to be. Click on 96 hits in a row or weekend personalities and they're just blank. Click on Photos, again just blank. I guess no one really maintains it or even looks at it.

Most radio web sites are so lame. Rarely is there any real updated content or any kind of personality from the people on the air. No regular blog-type entries, just mostly promotional crap and links to other things. Even sites for stations from bigger companies like Clear Channel or Citadel are just crowded with cookie cutter material. I guess most stations don't see their web sites being worth much effort.

Michael, you hit the nail right on the head...and, isn't K-Hits a Crane operation? If so they're way more concerned with selling cars than doing good radio...don't 'ya think?

96.5 has the same crappy audio and processing with the K-Hits format as it did during the "Party Station" era. Worst audio in the market. Seems Crain wants to do "store brand imitation" instead of something creative with their stations.
