LIVE 105.3 "Stunting"

Hate to say it, but they are probably gone for good. Radio stations only do this when they shut down. Notice they aren't even playing advertisements.
 
God I hope they aren't shutting down. This is the only station I listen to, everything else isn't worth my time listening.

My guess is that it is going sports talk on FM (pretty obvious), and will likely make a play for the Cowboys as an "image transfer" sort of thing.
 
If the station is done (in it's current form)...

I fully expect this message board to implode with celebration for 5 minutes...


then get back to the business of whining about the new format and the lack of smooth jazz in DFW.
 
It is probably just a "look at me" stunt by the awful Ben & Skin... I mean after all the college bowl games were just announced. I sure it will be Russ as usual at 3pm... I betcha they are going to announce all of the bowl games they are going to broadcast... lame.

Someone I saw on another board mentioned (who apparently has been listing to all the college fight songs....)

that the call letters were no longer KLLI when the station ID came on....
 
No way the radio station would do this with no advertising revenue coming in unless Ben and Skin are gone or the station is done or something huge like that.
 
Russ is heading off to college? I can see half-time now..............I now present to you The Texas A&M White Trash Band ............ :eek:
 
No for sure if I heard KLLI, but they did come on and say "Live 105.3"
