Since when was K-Rock *not* a music station? You're probably thinking of the "Free-FM" phase...

Indeed, a rock format is extremely PPM-friendly. The question now is a) which "rock holes" exist in Dallas, or b) which rock format to compete with.

I favor the deep cut, no KISS songs classic rock format. I seem to recall Led Zeppelin recorded more than three songs yet all I hear on the radio is Stairway to Heaven and Living Loving Maid.

Well, in that case, you'd have to also be hearing "Heartbreaker" also - you never hear a station play "Living Loving maid" without "Heartbreaker"...
