live 365 70's channel on 1120

KMOX was getting chewed apart last evening here in NEPA, where they're usually a pretty solid occupant. It seemed to be a quiet night Aurora-wise, as the northern WTIC Hartford was much louder and more solid than the closer WBAL. So I'm guessing that the Spanish Disney-ish Disco on 1120 was from Bristol CT.

DID catch Rod Stewart's 'Tonight's The Night', in the soup, though.

Thankx for the tip, Dino.

Sounds like either a close by part 15 or a pirate since Live 365 is an online music streaming site. Somebody is feeding the stream into an AM transmitter.

This can't be a pirate or Part 15...the station has been heard from PA to East TN so the power is likely 1kw or less.

Its actually WKCE licensed to Maryville,TN. Daytime 1kw. They and co-owned WVLZ 1180 in Knoxville are notorious for staying on at night. on 1120 70's has been replaced by the Christmas network.
