Live 95.9 In The Morning Changes Again

Hi Everyone. I am new to these message boards and want to be a dj one day. Does anyone know why Live 95.9 in MA. keeps changing their morning show this year? It was Big Mike. Then Big and a girl Kelly. Then the dj at night, Bob and Kelly. Then just Bob. Now Bob and a girl Jess that one a contest.

I took myself off mornings to concentrate more on OM duties. We brought Kellie in in anticipation of moving Bob Heck up to mornings, as he's been busting his hump for us. Kellie did not work out, and we hired Jess after an on air talent search, so far she's right on!

I believe you mean a girl who "won" a contest... Not "one". And, most of the time when you hear a contest where the winner gets a job, it is nothing more than a stunt to introduce the already hired new talent.

Normally I would agree about a "ringer", but in this case we were actually looking for something fresh. In truth, one of the five did have pro experience, but Jess had a lot going for her, she's the target demo, she's local, works well with Bob, and actually loves what she does.
