How many small market Mississippi stations are still live and local? Any idea? Which ones do small market radio the best?

WKRA 92.7 Holly Springs mostly live
WLRC 850 Walnut
WSAO 1140 Senatobia
KBUD 102.1 Sardis
WOXD 95.5 Oxford
WGNL 104.3 Greenwood (on the bird some)
WYDL 100.7 Corinth
WCPC 940 Houston

Pardon me for sounding like our former President, but it depends what you mean by "live" and "local." Further, what does "small" mean? To me, Tupelo, for instance, is a small market, but many might disagree.

And, yes... "best" is a subjective term.

But, it's an interesting question. The days of well done radio in small towns (e.g., WKNZ until the mid-1980s) may be leaving us.

What about the station in Picayune (WRJW?) The last time I was there it had some live and local country.

WBBV River 101 in Vicksburg except for Lia & Danny at night. Remotes, weather coverage, interviews about parades, Christmas tree lights, fund raisers, local football. Can't get more local and live than that.
