Live Music Venue Sales Idea

We're a new station that has approached an established restaurant/bar with a fantastic live music venue and we're needing a sales promotion that will put us over the top with ownership?
Presently there's a station in the market that's doing a Top 5 at 5 promotion with the business where they have listeners call and give the name and artist of the Top 5 songs of the day. Another station doing a trivia question. Both are giving away food vouchers as prizes. The client is also buying a schedule with the station doing the song of the day contest.
I've been told by the client that he'll not be increasing his ad budget, but re-arranging some money to get us in the picture.
Any ideas to how I can tap into these monies and give him a promotion that will have him in our corner to stay?

There must be 18 million of these kind of promotions... all derivative of about 18 total!

Assuming it is going to be something embedded in the programming perhaps you should ask your program director what she would be comfortable with and would enhance the station's cume and or tsl.
