Live PD on A&E

I see that A&E is doing a Live PD marathon today. I'm not much of a fan of cop shows, but this one seems more compelling, as they atleast try to give off a "live" appearance, though I doubt that is really the case. The difference between this and "Cops", is there is a panel hosted by ABC's Dan Abrams, and two police officer commentators. It seems to work for the most part, and it does feel a little like local news. Have to say, this show is the best in genre, but suppose it could become mundane after awhile. This seems to be the 21st century "Cops". I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't move beyond A&E. Thoughts?
 
It comes on live Friday & Saturday at 9PM yeah it's a live version of Cops. I really enjoy the show watch it late on Saturday nights on repeat.
