Live Prayer on WWBA

Has anyone heard anything about Bill Keller and his "Live Prayer" internet TV show coming to 840 WWBA
in the very near future?

The radio version of this TV "pay for pray" show was pitched to ClearChannel's WHNZ a few years ago. They politely declined, just as they have steadfastly turned down the scientologists. Airing programming that could be considered (by some) as extremist or cult is probably not a wise business decision. However Wagonvoord has long taken money from the Hubbardites for a show on "Human Right" on WTAN, and it would fit Maduri's profile to air a nut who has declared Barack Obama "An Enemy of God": http://www.liveprayer.com/b4.cfm

LIVE PRAYER ANNOUNCES RADIO DEAL WITH GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS

St. Petersburg, FL- Bill Keller is back in the secular media. Controversial internet evangelist Pastor Keller, founder of Liveprayer.com, has announced he will host a radio program on Tampa's 50,000-watt WWBA-820, owned by Genesis Communications. Beginning Monday, January 5, the program will air live every Monday through Friday from 11 PM to midnight EST.
Keller hosted a highly successful nightly TV program on CBS-owned WTOG for Tampa audiences from 2003 until 2007, when CBS executives caved under the weight of the Council on American-Islamic Relations' intimidation tactics. CAIR targets media personalities who question the legitimacy of the Islamic faith. Keller's program was also the target of pro-homosexual groups, as well as the Church of Scientology and the Mormon Church who Keller refers to as cults.

Rather than allow CBS to censor his content, Keller chose to move the Live Prayer TV program exclusively to the internet. Pastor Keller currently has over 2.4 million subscribers to his online Daily Devotional, and believes the move was the best decision he could have made.

"The internet is the broadcasting vehicle of the future, and we now have more viewers each night than we ever had on CBS," says Keller. "Being online has opened up our program to a worldwide audience, rather than merely to people living in Tampa."

Keller is excited about the new radio program.

"There are so many hurting people looking for answers and hope," explains Keller. "The internet is an excellent vehicle to deal not only with the issues of the day from a biblical worldview, but also to minister to the needs of our listeners. Lost in the controversy of our TV program, was the fact that Live Prayer has positively affected millions of lives over the years, and helped people negotiate the difficult times we all face on life's journey."

Keller is moving his live TV program to 11 PM to midnight EST in order to facilitate simulcasting the TV program and new radio program. The Live Prayer TV program can be seen exclusively at Liveprayer.com.

Unless I've missed something here, WWBA is only 1000 watts at night. The FCC database still lists 820 as WMGG.
