live video of radio

A few weeks ago, Clark Howard live-streamed video on FB a show about the Equifax breach.

I seem to recall at one time there was a Comcast channel dedicated to showing live (but likely delayed a few seconds) video of WSB's AM Morning News with Scott Slade. I remember enjoying it at the time with my morning coffee. Eventually my schedule changed and I could not watch it any more. What were the years that WSB did this?

Did any other ATL stations ever try this?

I'd watch one now if anyone did it.

Actually, 790 the Zone simulcasted their Mayhem in the AM morning show on Comcast's Sports Channel for a few years. Interesting that neither exists anymore.

It has never happened on Comcast. However, back in the late 1990s to early 2000s, it did happen on a then existing cable company known as MediaOne. MediaOne had a local Atlanta cable network called TV33 named after the cable channel number. No, you could not pick this up via rabbit ears; This was MediaOne cable only. It was TV33 that did the TV simulcast of WSB Radio's AMN (Atlanta's Morning News) with Scott Slade. TV33 also did rebroadcasts of WAGA-TV FOX5 Atlanta's GDA (Good Day Atlanta) along with FOX5's 12PM (12 Noon) newscast. WXIA-TV 11Alive did a 9PM newscast on TV33 for a few years. and prior to 11Alive's 9PM newscast coming into existence, TV33 went under another name MOneNews (MediaOne News) Channel 33. During the MOneNews Channel 33 era, they would air rebroadcasts of FOX5's 5PM, 6PM, & 10PM newscasts. Of course, MediaOne got bought out by AT&T Broadband and then AT&T Broadband got bought out by Comcast. Anyway, that is all.

V103 did something similar with Frank Ski and Wanda, but it was recorded and broadcated later in the evening for 30 minutes on CW69.

The Breakfast Club is live on TV on Revolt at 6AM weekdays
