LIVE! With Kelly

As a comedian, he's good entertainment and good with ad-libbing. But I get the impression (and I don't normally do impressions) that Howie would completely overshadow Kelly and push her into the background. Then again, I've never seen the two of them work together and I don't know how their chemistry is together.

Whomever gets the gig, would the show become Live! With Kelly and (Whomever) or Live! With (Whomever) and Kelly?

If I'm not mistaken, he filled in for Regis when Kathie Lee was on the show. Those 2 seemed to work well. Of course, she won't let anyone overshadow her. She wants all the attention. It's hard to say how well Howie Mandell will work out with Kelly Ripa.

Howie Mandell, to me, is like Robin Williams. Funny for three minutes, then gets on your nerves really quick. They do work well together, but long term... Well we shall find out eh?

Whoever it is that gets the gig, at least it won't be Drew Carey and his "clique" of friends swarming over the entire show and using tired, old, stale, used humor from the sitcom days. For me, they're wearing out their welcome on The Price is Right real fast.

He had a daytime talk show in the late 90s, that lasted one season. However, he was cleared on CBS stations and didn't fare well against the 'Rosie O'Donnell' show, which it closely emulated.

Heard on the radio this morning that the Producers are ready to offer the vacant slot on Live!! To Howie Mandel!!

Further advancing his quest for the title "Luckiest Man of the Millennium".

I honestly cannot fathom how Mandell keeps any job in shew biz. He is as irritating and unfunny as anyone I've ever seen and even if comedy weren't required he has no other skill to recommend him.

As much as I enjoy watching Kelly Ripa that show is history should Howie become a regular.
