Well, there's always the internet! Besides, can't you get some of the FM's from Maine like WCRQ 102.9 from Dennysville?

How about WVOM 103.9? They have a great 100,000 watt ERP signal that is walkman listenable as far east as the Calais area. That station definitely is the cure for "brainwashed Canadian talk"!

I am curious....do you ever get Boston FMs during tropospheric ducting periods? How about the AMs from Boston? Some of them, such as WRKO and WEEI, must come in pretty well - especially at night.

You would seem to be in a pretty interesting spot there - makes for a fine "listening post"!

Don;t think you will get WVOM 103.9 with CBZA on 103.7 there. Are you on the lower east side of island? Do hills block off FM signals from Bangor/Ellsworth? What about TV out there? Is it Rogers Cable? What can you get off-air? Does Maine PBS on Channel 13 make it out there? What about the Bangor UHF translators from Meddybemps/Calais WLBZ on 57 and WABI on 61? I would presume you get St.John's 4,9,11?? > I really should take a trip out there some time this summer.

I live on the east side of the rock! So the hills block all the good signals for daytime use. Occ. I can Get WRKO or WEEI and sometimes WBZ.<P ID="signature">______________

That's funny, I would have guessed WBZ would have been the
best to receive. And how about 560 WGAN Portland?

And what about TV reception?

Being that far east, you're probably in WBZ's null (or at least at the fringe of it). They are directional.

Don't forget WDEA in Ellsworth. AM 1370--5,000 watts aimed in that direction.
