Much better news than a couple posts I had participated in, over the premature demise of Liz. Of course the source remains the same. Ted up in Northern California will be happy about this too!

Cool...Liz was my partner at KEZR in San Jose shorly after leaving Dees...along with Danny Lemos! I'll look forward to seeing what she's up to...

Don't recall the whole story. I do know that Liz left the Dees show and then returned several years later. It's been said that she was none too happy about Rick showing up to appearances and on the old Wally George TV Show witha bikini clad beauty and passing her off as Liz. It was always somewhat tongue in cheek, but still bothered her.I do know that she sued Dees and cannot remember the disposition of that action. Liz was a news anchor first, but rapidlybecame Dees sidekick. She had done this type of radio before in the 70's in morning drive at KOBO in Yuba City with a deejay named Dick Diamond (real name Bob Hartzell) and with Terry Nelson at KROY in Sacramento before coming to the old KIQQ/K100 in LA. In the 90's she also worked at KFI-KOST. I worked with her in both Northern and Southern California. She's a great lady.
