Liz Habib

Saw Liz Habib anchoring the 11PM news here in LA on KCOP (Channel 13) this weekend. Funny thing is, I dont remember her going by Liz Habib and she appears to be hispanic now!

She was Liz Habib when she was at KTVK. I think her ancestry is Arab-American.

"Hi, I'm Liz Habib with the news and you know who the $#%& I am." ;D

KCOP's main anchor at 11PM is Lauren Sanchez, who worked at KTVK as Wendy Sanchez. Could you be mistaking her and Liz for each other?

So I went to Fox 11's website to see if I could find a picture of Liz. I found a picture of Amy Brooke! I almost didn't recognize her. She now goes by Amy Murphy. It mentions that she started in April 2006 and was a weatherguesser at KPNX-TV. I guess that 'sales' job that she left 12 for led to this.

I remember a few months ago seeing Dos Gringos' favorite anchor Liz on KTTV field reporting as "Liz Warren." She's not on the website anymore though, and I couldn't find any sort of bios on KCOP's website.

When she started at KPNX, didn't she go by Murphy until she got married? [/quote]

Yep. That's what I remember. Then she got married, changed her last name, and I think she and her husband started up a tanning salon business or something like that in Phoenix.

Looks like maybe both that biz and the marriage went under? Well, that's show business.
On to L.A.!
