Loafer names Album 88 best non-comm

Congrats to the student staff at 88.5 for racking up more awards in the "Best of" awards by Creative Loafing magazine.
WRAS was named "noncommercial station of the year" and "station getting better all the time!"(at least I think that's what the catagory is called) This is the third year in a row for noncomm station of the year.
Album 88 is one helluva college operation.....this is much deserved recognition!
 
WRAS is the reason I've got a 200-inch antenna, and it's always facing Atlanta (100 miles) for that same reason. WRAS is by far the best sounding music oriented radio station I've ever heard. The weekday morning Regular Rotation is the best.

And WREK's classic rock show Stone[d]henge won the "Best Lesson in Rock History" award; yay!
 
WRAS has been solid and reliable for the 20+ years I've listened to them.
