Local Bills Telecasts of the 1970's Help Plea

i am DEEP research of the history of logging the tv announcers for every single pro football (nfl & afl) game ever televised.

i am asking for ANY help for the following games. these were local telecasts that nbc couldn't televise due to commitments to baseball's post season. i need:

1. the local channel that televised the game

2. the commentators who called the game (both play-by-play and analyst)

10/11/1970: bills at pittsburgh

10/17/1971: bills at ny jets

10/23/1971: bills at san diego

10/22/1972: bills at miami

10/13/1974: bills at baltimore

10/12/1975: bills at baltimore

10/15/1978: bills at houston

any - and i mean ANY - help on these games would be 1000% appreciated!!!!

Wow -- takes me back! At least one time I remember the TV broadcast being the NBC crew that was originally assigned to the game -- e.g. Charlie Jones and George Ratterman -- and I believe most of these were broadcast by Channel 4 (WBEN-TV at the time, for most of these...). I don't recall Ch. 7 getting these.

I think I remember one time where NBC gave the game back to the local stations and then had a rain-out, and Channel 2 aired the game anyway.

This link might help jog memories: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NFL_on_NBC_commentator_pairings

I remember at least one time the Baltimore games were given back to the local stations because Baltimore had the blue law that prohibited games from starting before 2 PM. NBC on one instance had a 1 PM football game with the World Series pre-game beginning at 4 or 4:30, so they had to jettison coverage of Bills-Colts.

The memory is foggy enough I can't recall specific games, but I remember games with Pittsburgh and Baltimore being affected this way.

Have you tried contacting the NFL's PR folks? Or NFL films? I would honestly think those would be your best resources.

I do not recall NBC's "A" or "B" teams being used for these games -- e.g. Gowdy / Rote / Simpson / DeRogatis.

And, FWIW, my favorite all-time TV team was Gowdy / DeRogatis. Even though Gowdy would stumble in later years, he avoided cliches; DeRogatis educated and informed. Their enthusiasm for the game was infectious. Conversely, I always wondered why Kyle Rote lasted as long as he did. He had a flat voice and came across as disinterested.
