Local Boston Stations Give Short Shift To The Tsongas Win.

Seems all the local Boston stations gave little time to the Niki Tzongas win over Republicrat farmer Jim Ogonowski.
Seemed more interested in covering a lesbian mother at a Milton school committee meeting than this race.
However, at the 6 PM News on WBZ Jon Keller gave the disclaimer again that his son, Barney was a paid employee of the Ogonowski campaign a fact the Keller did not announce until late last week when it appears management made him do so.
Full disclosure is always the best policy.
Now, back to the lesbian mother in Milton...and by the way the Sox lost too. NOW, back to the lesbian mother.....
 
Although it is a newsworthy event, Tsongas doesn't represent the greater Boston area, although the Lowell area is heavily populated the TV stations in Boston are going to be more Boston centric.

Besides, the special election had a lower turnout(105,000 voters to the the 160,000 voters who elected the unopposed Meehan last Nov) and Tsongas was expected to win anyways.

There was some scuttlebutt that the republicans were gonna pick up this one- that would have been news. So much for your liberal media bias. This is a slap to the Boston sations. It's one thing to bypass southern NH or Springfield Mass. but to not report on a congressional representative special election in your coverage area is pretty pathetic, no excuses.
