Local Dallas CW Morning Show

Seeing all the other major market CW stations (NY, LA, Chicago, Denver) have one, it would make alot of sense. I wonder if they'll go with a KTLA approach with going five hours (5a-10a) or more like KWGN2 with a 3 hr. show...

Sorry, but I don't see a morning show on CW33. They need to work on the news at nine before they even think about a morning show. Perfect example, I watched last night and the severe weather coverage looked very small market, No live shots, just a couple of reporters who did phone reports. I understand you want your reporters to be safe, but the others seem to get live shots on air. Another thing, get rid of the warehouse look. It's not working. Also what happened to Bob Gooseman?? He used to be great on KTVT, now during severe weather he's nowhere to be found on 33.

About a year ago the hot rumor was that Tribune was going to pull the plug on news at CW33. I really just don't see the new owners sinking cash into an expensive proposition like a morning show until they fix the evening show. Gooseman isn't a problem there, it's the managers and the news people in general. They are just very small market.

Also remember the stations I mentioned previously already had well-established news departments before trib owned them, in particular KTLA and WPIX.

I would watch CW33 more if I knew Bob Gooseman was going to be on during severe weather. I think he's one of the best in this market. (loved him on 11) I thought I saw a CW news/wx promo saying we put the community first. (maybe wrong station) Wouldn't that include severe weather coverage?
