I probably know the answer to this before I ask, but who is announcing football games in Freeport?

I assume that when Maverick sold to Green County that the firing of Jeff Allen and Tom Liska meant they would not be back this season, but what happened to the other guys, especially The Professor?

I thought he was always good for a laugh or two during the games.

Could anyone shed light on this for me?
 
Do any FM's in Rockford carry HS sports? It's such a weak small market thing...I didn't realize many of the big stations would do that. It's so narrow of an event...only a few people care.
 
I think HS sports should belong on lp fm's not on commercial stations. In the big cities you don't see them putting on HS sports? Weak local programming, to make a quick buck, how gives two shits about programming.
 
1) That's assuming your HS Sports programming makes money.
2) Most communities don't have an LPFM.
3) Most communities have more than 1 high school, and therefore several stations can cover separate schools.
