Why not just cut the clutter? They don't have the budget to hire the kind of talent that really adds anything to the proceedings, so instead of banal commentary, use that time to squeeze in another song or two each hour and use the payroll savings to reduce the amount of commerical time.

From Scott Fybush's NERW (http://www.fybush.com/nerw.html) this week, Scott reports: "Former Rochester jock Dave (Rosati) Mason has been settled in San Diego for a few years now - and he's just moved from the San Diego Union-Tribune's "Sign On Radio" to new oldies station XHBCE (105.7 the Walrus), where he starts in morning drive May 5."
