Local hunting and fishing

On Monday 1million hunters will take to Penns woods. Why no local hunting and fishing show on the radio ? We see them on tv we have all matter of print. Why no Radio. seems to me with the vast ammount of interest in our area for the outdoors the dirth of progaming is a suprise. Add in that co-op for hunting and fishing gear is HUGE! Yes HUGE! I have always wonderd why programers of the local talk stations are unwiling to invest in such a show. Average rifle 400 bucks, a box of shells is now 30 dollars, hats, boots decent Red Wings $200.00. Food for hunting camp?? Beer, Liquor, for that matter asprin, even comes into play. Have a trophy buck mounted 200 300 500 dollars!!!
Seems to me it is a market that could be supported. Thoughts comments....

Did Warm do it???

Did Warm do it???

Never that I recall. Then again, stop by any bowling alley most every day and the place is jammed, yet no radio or TV station has ever paid an ounce of attention to bowling. OK, one exception, a thousand years ago WDAU sponsored a local bowling tournament at Cedar Lanes in Scranton. I doubt anyone here will remember that - I doubt anyone would remember Cedar Lanes, for that matter.

WARM ran "Warmland Outdoors with Stan Sowa" for a few years in the mid 90's.Also, in a rather opposite twist, Ted Nugent does a tour of hunting, fishing, outdoorsman type shows and visits the conservative talkers ( Pro NRA issues) in each town he goes to.
