Local News Now

Has add stations like on 3 Scripps station Colorado.

I'm sorry, but what are you talking about? I am not trying to be mean or whatever, but the thread topic and this post make no legitimate or grammatically made sense to me.

I think I can translate-

as of this week, at least here in Philadelphia, a new “Local Now” channel has appeared (here on WDPN 2.7). It’s Byron Allen’s Weather Channel offshoot that airs a wheel of weather-news-fluff-lottery numbers etc. It’s been available as a streaming channel for a while now. I’ve never watched for more than an hour (I’ve never really watched for more than five minutes), but this new broadcast network version is structured where in an hour, the first half hour is the Local Now wheel, and the second half hour is an Entertainment Studios show. Notably, from the tv listings I’ve seen, they are NOT airing any ES scripted court shows, I guess that doesn’t quite meet the vibe of what they’re hoping to do with this new diginet. Infomercials run from midnight through 6am. There are shades of the old “Touchvision” newswheel channel that came and went in the early 2010’s.

Here's their website to get a taste of what the channel is like- https://localnow.com/

I give it a hearty "meh". Certainly better to see this show up than another infomercial or home shopping or pay-to-pray channel. At least if I'm bopping around broadcast TV, I know I can pop this channel on at the TOH and catch a local weather forecast.

That RBR article doesn’t address the topic at hand here- it’s about Scripps channels being added to the Local Now app platform. This is about Local Now appearing on OTA signals, at least two of which have nothing to do with Scripps; KDOC in LA is owned by Ellis and run by Titan TV Group, and WDPN in Philly is owned by Maranatha Broadcasting.
