Local News Station

Where are the news stations. The stations that give local news for Nashville. It would be great to have a station that broadcast a television station news. All the stations in Nashville give a very brief 5 min news cast of nothing.

Are there stations out there that give real local news for Nashville?
 
Newschannel5 once had Newschannel5 radio, which simulcasted "the plus," if I remember correctly. Since "the plus" was only on cable at the time, it was useful to me at the time.

There was another station which used to simulcast CNN Headline News, back before Nancy "dis"graced it, but I believe that that was just a "placekeeper" format until they decided on what to do with that station, or sold it, or whatever.
 
Local news died with deregulation and greed. Btw the top billing station in the nation is WTOP. Too bad we are so ignorant.
 
I remember 1510 was "news and blues" in the 1960's. Of course being owned by an Insurance company took a little pressure off the P & L.
