Local News - Suburban Regional Coverage

Does anybody think that the 3 major networks' local newscasts cover a particular suburb more than others? I used to watch WABC a lot and noticed that they seem to cover a lot of stories on Long Island. Lately I have been watching WNBC and it seems they cover more news from CT and the northern suburbs. I don't really watch WCBS that much so I can't really comment. Any other observations?

I notice that WNBC seems to cover New Jersey very well. They have two reporters on the Jersey beat, Brian Thompson and Pat Battle and they were the station that broke the Fort Dix plot thanks to the work of Jonathan Dienst and his team.
WNBC seems to cover New Jersey stories that the other stations don't and seem to have a very good grip on NJ politics.
