Local Olympics Coverage

Here's what the New England NBC affiliates are doing (according to guide data and promos):

WHDH - Boston
-Live Reports from Anne Allred
-"Olympic Zone" weeknights at 7:30 PM

WCSH/WLBZ - Portland/Bangor
-"Olympic Zone" Monday-Saturday around 7:00 PM

WVIT - Hartford
-LX.TV Specials

WJAR - Providence
-None

WWLP - Springfield
-None

I have watched everything on WHDH, and I have to say I think they're doing a really good job. They seem to be the only station in New England with a live reporter out in Vancouver. And I never thought they would do something like this nowadays.

Considering Boston's ranking vs. the other cities, it would only make sense. I think NBC still owns the Hartford station, and we all know what NBC's financial situation is these days.

correction about wjar the do have a reporter out there and i believe they do a Olympic show at 7pm but not sure. i do know they have a reporter that's out in Vancouver his name is joe i forget his last name!!
