Does anyone know why certain stations have such poor audio quality through their streams? I can understand that a part of it has to do with limitted bandwidth, however that doesn't explain why the volume is distorted so much. The KMNY stream is really distorted and unlistenable. I do some internet streaming and know that the volume can definitley be turned down even if the bit rate is low or in mono.

Someone else also has noticed the distorted audio on KMNY..YAY! Now if they would do something about it!

I routinely listen to several internet stations and above 64kbps they sound pretty darned good. Intrestingly KMNY shows stream at 128k .. should be excellent. Seems to me someone in engineering ought to listen to the output side on a computer and make some adjustments.
