I enjoyed spending a few minutes a short while ago watching live video from the studio of WVOX, 1460 AM, on their website. They were playing music and sounded automated, so I was surprised to see an employee pop into the studio, say a few words about the song into the mike, and then leave the room.
Are there other stations in this area that provide an opportunity to watch online what goes on in their studio?
BTW, sister station WVIP on 93.5 FM evidently discontinued the leased HD2 station that had broadcast Caribbean music (not to be confused with WVIP itself, which also has Caribbean programming). It must be impossible to attract enough advertising to an HD2 station to pay for the leased time, let alone make a profit. I only heard one advertiser on that station. WVOX is now simulcast on WVIP HD2.
