Local talker on XM?

I'm a frequent lurker on both this board, and on the XM Satellite radio board, because a few months ago I got myself and my wife XM subscriptions for our cars.

Anyhoo, today marked a rollout of new channels on XM, apperantly clear channel programs a handful of channels and decided to put commericals on them. XM rolled out new channels as to not loose that audience.

XM's website and current channel lineup says that late spring/early summer 2006 they will deploy 6 new regional news & talk stations...one of which will be aimed at the northwest. I guess Clear Channel will be programming these as well, if thats true what source would they pull from in this area? Does clear channel own any news stations in P-town? they don't here in seattle. I'm curious to see what happens.

Any thoughts?

CC owns KEX and KPOJ in PDX

My wife made me get rid of XM a year ago. She complained I'm paying too much attention to internet and local radio to justify the cost of the subscription
